Philomena \u201cNina\u201d Landolfi Fritz<\/strong>

Nina Fritz began her love of painting while living in Japan with her career military husband, Norman. Over the years, classes at various universities and the Philadelphia Museum of Art have strengthened and focused her innate creativity. Fritz paints commissioned pieces and weekly portrait impressions \u201ca la prima\u201d (from life). Her \u201cPlein Air\u201d work indulges her desires to paint live in progress out in the open.

Now internationally known, Fritz\u2019s paintings hang in public buildings and private homes all over the world, including Japan, Italy, Sweden, Australia, and France. In 1979 her work was recognized when she was the first Gulf Coast artist chosen to submit work for the 112^{th<\/sup> Annual American Watercolor Society Show in New York City. In 1977 she was commissioned by Paramount Pictures to create several painting s for “The Truman Show” filmed in part in Seaside, Florida.
